Thu has always had a passion for all things beautiful, pursuing a degree in both Interior Design and Floral Design, with both careers pulling at her heartstrings.
After college, she moved to The Big Apple, 2,781 miles away from home (Orange County, CA). She began to realize that her love for weddings was a perfect fit after fortuitously landing a job at Matthew Robbins Design, creating beautiful high end weddings all around New York City’s most prominent venues. She was drawn instinctively towards the beauty flowers brings to each wedding, and knew she wanted to help couples create their dream wedding as a career. After moving back home in 2012, she founded Lace and Stems.

With the love from her Instagram followers, vendors, and client referrals, she has since jumped in full time into her business. She loves every moment of her job going above and beyond; all the while, utilizing her interior design expertise to help couples with design concepts and color schemes to cohesively bring the whole day together. She pours her heart into every bouquet, centerpiece, and floral installation and it is transparent in every wedding she takes on.
